It’s been a quiet week with lots of staff taking some well-deserved time off! This is a slightly shorter update but still contains some great stuff to digest.
Highlights of the week
- We have had a number of new (and previous) contractors join the team! Welcome back to Vic Mitchell who will be working as a Delivery Manager on Health. Welcome also to Anthony Jones (Delivery Manager) and James Boardwell (User Researcher)
- We are platinum sponsors of this year’s GovCamp Cymru conference. If you are unfamiliar, this annual event brings together people working in public services from across Wales (and beyond!). Early bird tickets were released this week and have already sold out! If you are interested in coming along let the comms team know and they will let you know when the next batch is made live.

- Mike has met with a number of teams and individuals this week to start planning our activity for Digital Leaders Week which takes place 19 - 23 June. We want representatives from across all teams so if you are interested in submitting a talk, get in touch with Mike.
- The Cost of Living team have published a MVP webpage/resource on co-designing bilingual content they have been doing. Take a look and give feedback or suggestions to Adriàn.
SLT activities
It’s been another busy week for SLT:
- Myra attended the Welsh Government Digital Scrutiny Panel where we reviewed the NHS Radiology and NHS Pathology transformation programmes.
- Planning and preparing the CDPS May and July Board agendas and materials which will cover how we prioritise CDPS projects for us to work on, what work it is appropriate for us to charge for and how we are addressing being a bilingual organisation.
- Meeting colleagues from NRW, Diane Rennie and Heledd Evans, and hearing about their initial work across NRW's digital transformation programmes.
- SLT have been busy prepping for the team away day. We're looking forward to bringing everyone up to speed on the journey so far!

Just a reminder that we are holding a face-to-face CDPS team day on Wednesday 10 May in Cardiff. Ed posted a quick update in the general channel.
We're sooooooooo excited about coming together and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day. The day will start at 10am - so if you need accommodation for the night before, please let Sophie know ASAP.
