To support our vision, we have three objectives; one to support the public sector, one the wider CDPS team and one is about us as a comms team!
How they link with our Strategic Priorities
What success will look like by the end of September.
Bring people together to share, connect and learn
- We’ll have a baseline of the conversation rate of those registered to attend our events to those who actually attend (aiming for a baseline of 50% after that) [Mike/Elise]
- Using our CRM, we’ll produce a report, detailing clearly who is attending our informal events, (roles/levels/locations) which will help inform our comms and engagement activity for Q3 and Q4. [Mike/Elise]
- The recordings of playlists on YouTube will increase by 10% on current views because of social media activity. [Alaw]
- Our Eisteddfod event attracts key and influential decision makers who are interested in our work including the Minister for Welsh Language, the Chair of the Cross Party group on Digital and the Welsh Language Commissioner. [Mike/Elise]
Support teams to share their work and be more transparent
- For projects in flight, we’ll have real clarity on the outcomes they want to achieve, agreement about how comms can help meet those outcomes with activity in progress. [Ed/Gem]
- Using our own meetings and events, we will increase subscribers of our weeknotes by 10% from 165 - 181. [Charlotte]
- The Trio Writing book will have been downloaded 200 times [Josh]
- The approach to trio writing will have received 2 pieces of Welsh media coverage at the Eisteddfod
- a clear comms campaign is in place for our cost of living work with the focus on schools essentials grant (and implementation started) [Gemma]
Refine our internal processes to ensure clear and consistent comms and engagement
- We have clear content workflows for teams to follow and these have been clearly communicated. [Osian/Charlotte]
- Staff understand their role as content owners and how to work with content editors.[Osian/Charlotte]
