This week we published ‘How long should the recruiting process take?’, part of our Attract, Recruit, Retain campaign. In this blog post, our Talent Partner, Lauren Power, explains how the CDPS recruitment process works and shares some valuable resources.
This week we also hosted our webinar on recruiting digital, data and technology talent in the Welsh public sector. We had 21 attendees, and it was great to hear from Sheena from Neath Port Talbot Council on how they’ve changed their processes to help with recruitment.

Edwina has been working with Jo and SLT on our strategic delivery plan for the reminder of this term of government.
It includes our vision, values and 7 strategic priorities, along with the outcomes we want to achieve by 2026. We presented to our chair and the chief digital officer groups this week with helpful feedback.
As an SLT, we’ll work on our roadmap, milestones and metrics in January.
