The comms team have been running a ‘prior information notice’ for a customer relationship management system on Sell2Wales, which closed this week. We had interest from 22 organisations, which we’ll now shortlist.
For shortlisted suppliers, we’ll ask for a demonstration of their product, how it will meet our requirements and questions about implementation, timescales and costs.
We’ve kicked off two exciting strands of work this week, which will help the comms team improve our understanding of how our communications and content are engaging people across all of our channels.
The first is a piece of work to improve the Google Analytics tracking on our website. We want a better understanding of how people are engaging with the site, including where they’re coming from and what they’re looking for. Those insights will play an important part in us creating content that meets our users’ needs. The evidence will also form part of a discovery for a refresh of our website, which kicked off this week.
The second piece of work is an analysis of how well optimised our communication channels are for search – so-called search engine optimisation. We want to know how effectively we meet online search demand for relevant content. We also want to find out how we can reach new people online, in a targeted way.
Watch this space for how we get on!
This week we kicked off a discovery into:
Management information systems in schools
Amy and Mike have been working with Darren McCormac (delivery community lead) and Alex Osborne (delivery manager) on a blog post about our discovery into a needs-based procurement for a new management information system in Welsh schools.
Partnership agreement with health
Amy and Mike are also looking after the communications for the health work CDPS has kicked off with the Digital Medicines Transformation Portfolio, part of Digital Health and Care Wales. The 2 organisations have signed a 'partnership agreement' pinning down the outcomes we're seeking and how we will work together. Joint communications will be issued shortly!
