Tech Net Zero

Comms have supported the Tech Net Zero (TNZ) team several ways this week. We published a blog post entitled ’Tech net zero’ - what does it mean?, looking at how the name of the discovery is defining its goals.

We also supported the team’s latest show and tell. The TNZ team covered an interview they held with a sustainability lead at Amazon Web Services - super-interesting stuff!

And here’s some Twitter feedback on the show and tell:

We’ve been trying to help the TNZ team recruit participants for their user research. We published a video of our CEO, Harriet Green, describing the importance of the TNZ work:

What do we mean by ‘multidisciplinary’?

We published another blog post called ‘What is a multidisciplinary team?’, by one of the Digital Service Standards team. In the post, Susan McFarland-Lyons looks at roles within an MDT and the differences between an MDT and a project team.

Show and tell: we mean it!

One of CDPS’s principles is ‘working in the open’. As part of that commitment, we upload our show and tells (progress updates) to our YouTube channel – now that’s really showing!

This week has been particularly busy.

Our Tech Net Zero, Digital Landscape Review and Skills and Capabilities teams all held show and tells.

Digital Leaders Week: passionate about digital

Digital Leaders Week is an annual event – from 20-24 June this year – for people passionate about digital transformation. CDPS delivery manager Darren McCormac gave a talk at this year’s event about building a team remotely in a crisis

We also live-tweeted at a ‘hybrid’ (mixed remote and live) session called DigiLeaders Wales: Bringing people together – read the thread below.
