Last week our comms manager, Mike, and our joint CEO, Myra, attended the Digital Summit at the Life Sciences Hub Wales in Cardiff and it was a great reminder of the value of in-person events. Virtual events have been crucial over the past couple of years for increased accessibility and inclusion but in-person events still have that magic ingredient you can’t quantify - atmosphere / feel of the room.
Putting people at the centre of services was the clear message that came from the day. Everyone left the event feeling motivated by the conversations, inspired by the people working to create change and focused on what needs to be done next. If we can bottle those outcomes and sprinkle them over every event we attend or run in the future, then change can happen a lot quicker.
Listen back and watch the events as they unfolded.
